Start in the right place
The Threshing Day game people are looking for is Dragonkind, Rebecca Yarros’s interactive adventure. Open dragonkind.com from the Play button. On a desktop, it opens in a separate window; on a phone, your browser may use a new tab.
- Open the entrance. Select the welcome button on the original site.
- Use an email you can access. Request a code, then follow the game’s sign-in instructions.
- Read the instructions in the game. Keep your email tab nearby until you finish signing in.
- Keep your companion open. Return here when you want a guide or a place to note your choices.
Before you enter
Use a current browser with JavaScript enabled. Allow the game window when your browser asks. If a mail app opens a link in its own browser, continue in the same main browser where you started the sign-in process.
For a first run, try reading the scene before looking up a route. The decisions are part of the experience. You can save a short note after an important choice in your run journal.
What happens after sign-in?
MoodReads describes receiving a wing, section and squad before entering Threshing. Its October 2 play report also describes a failed attempt followed by a countdown. A run can end without a bond; the instructions on your own game screen take priority.
Record a scene in your own words, your choice and the result. You can come back to finish the same journal entry later.
If the entrance will not open
Use the direct “Open in a new tab” link under the Play button. Check whether the browser blocked a popup. If Dragonkind is busy, keep the current tab open and follow any queue message; repeatedly opening more tabs can make it harder to tell which session you are using.
For a failed attempt or a waiting screen, see retry and cooldown help. For a bond card, go to dragon results.
